About Linda Davies

Money mentor, ex investment banker, international bestselling author, and Jungian life coach

Hello, I’m Linda Davies.

For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of being a writer. But I also understood early on that dreams, without the means to fund them, often remain just that – dreams.

Determined to create that financial freedom for myself, I spent the first chapter of my career in the City of London, working as an investment banker. It wasn’t easy, especially not for a young woman navigating the male-dominated world of high finance in the 1980s and 90s, but it was strategic. I set out to earn my ‘escape fund’, and that’s exactly what I did.

Eventually, I left banking to pursue my dream of writing full-time. My debut novel Nest of Vipers, a financial thriller inspired by my time in the City, became an international bestseller, published in over 30 countries. I went on to write a series of bestselling thrillers – many set in the world of money, power, and ambition – as well as books specifically about financial literacy and how we relate to wealth, including “What Every Woman Needs to Know to Create Financial Abundance” and “10 Things Everyone Needs to Know About Money”

Looking back, I realise I didn’t just escape the world of finance. I integrated it into my passion. Money and writing are two worlds often seen as opposites, became, for me, inextricably linked.

Money coach with experience and impact

Over the years, I’ve come to see how money is rarely just about numbers. It’s about stories. It’s about identity. And it’s profoundly shaped by psychology.

As a fully qualified Jungian Life Coach, I work at the intersection of financial literacy and deep inner transformation. I help people, especially women, unpack the unconscious beliefs and inherited money narratives that shape their financial lives. Because here’s the truth few talk about openly:

There isn’t just a gender pay gap. There’s a confidence gap, a negotiation gap, a pension gap, a legacy gap.

And for many women, there’s the ‘care gap’; time lost (and wealth sacrificed) while raising children or caring for family. These are not just abstract ideas to me. They are lived experience. I’ve navigated the boardrooms of global finance, raised a family, reinvented myself multiple times, and built wealth and independence on my own terms.

Who I work with

Today, I teach financial literacy to Oxbridge students, high performers, creatives, founders, and executives around the world. I’ve delivered workshops to global corporations and private mentoring to individuals ready to take control of their financial destiny.

My coaching blends the practical with the psychological. The spreadsheets and the soul work. Because true wealth is never just about accumulation – it’s about alignment, freedom, and power.

Ready to change your story?

Whether you’re looking to build your ‘escape fund’, grow your wealth, change your financial mindset, or simply feel less stressed and more in control around money — I would love to help.

Money should work for you. Not the other way around.
